There is no educational requirement for HIV programs; anyone with
a heart to help is welcome on this project!
However a letter from students or doctor is required to join the
medical programs.
In the last years, Africa, particulary Ghana has experienced a rapid
increase in HIV/AIDS infections.
Roughly 80 percent of all reported cases are attributable to heterosexual
transmission, and studies indicate that between 1 and 4 percent
of pregnant women have been infected with the virus.
